Equipped with Water Quenching System, the mill is designed to produce TMT bars according to all international standards. Following growing demand of the market PREET is proposing the new Wire Rod Line which are available in 4, 6, 8 and 10 High speed Laying Head Coiler, Controlled Cooling Conveyor, Coil Compactor, Coil Handling, Wire Rod Line is suitable for producing also rebar in coils. Depending on furnace capacity and product size, 5 Slit | 4-slit | 3-slit | 2-slit operation is used. Even if the design speed of the mills may be higher, these mills run at rolling speeds ranging in most cases 12 to 15 meters per second. The reason for such low speeds is the fact that operation is sensitive at small sizes and mill setting requires fine accuracy. The design of the guiding equipment inside the mill (even for lopper arrangement) and the cooling bed run-in system have to take account of the special requirements of the multiple running strands.
